Dieppe Local collects as little as possible. Here is exactly what we collect, why, and what happens to it.

The short version

Browsing dieppe.app is anonymous. There are no accounts, no analytics, no tracking and no cookies.
The only personal details we collect are the ones a business owner types into the sign-up form.
Only the Dieppe Local team sees them, and only to contact you about joining.
We never sell or share your details, and we delete requests that don't go anywhere.

What the sign-up form collects

When you ask to put your business on Dieppe Local, we receive:

your business name
your name
your email address
your phone number, if you give one
the town or city where you are based
your category and what you sell
your website or Instagram, if you give one
the language you prefer (English or French)
that you confirmed your business is in New Brunswick and agreed to be contacted

We use these details for one thing: to get in touch with you about joining Dieppe Local and to set up your business page. We don't add you to a mailing list.

Who sees it

Only the Dieppe Local team. Your request is stored on our own server, and we get a short note in our team chat when a new one arrives. We never sell, rent or share it with anyone else.

How long we keep it

If your business joins, we keep your contact details for as long as your business is on Dieppe Local. If we decline a request, or it doesn't go anywhere, we delete it 12 months after it was last updated.

No tracking

This site has no analytics, no ads, no tracking pixels and no cookies. We don't load anything from other companies: fonts and images are served from our own servers. Like any website, our server briefly logs basic technical data (such as IP addresses) to keep the site running and to block abuse.

Public business information

The business pages you see on Dieppe Local (names, products, prices, photos, hours, locations, WhatsApp numbers and links) are published by the businesses themselves. Each owner decides what to show and can change or remove it at any time.

Your choices

You can ask to see, correct or delete the details you sent us at any time. Just write to [email protected].

Changes

If we change this policy, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
